lady at Orchard
Saw the lady whom ah hua and i walked pass the day before at Orchard on TV.
Ah hua, you remember?
We were wondering if she's faking blind...
Not only us... those who walk pass too...
Not that we don't trust her.
It's just that there're lots of 'fakers' in this market.
Especially when you are eating steamboat at Marina...
It's like the 'headquarter' for these people to hang out.
Most of you must have seen it.
They'll carry a laminated paper that say :
" I am deaf and mute. Please buy a soft toy and that will help me blah..."
My sis came across this person who's selling these toys.
This ang-moh was holding the card and signalling.
Then, something amazing happened.
My sis's friend wanted Winnie the Pooh.
But don't think he has it.
Upon 'hearing' her question, he quickly search for it in his bag!
Wow! isn't he deaf? as written on the card?
Which is why I would always harbour my doubt whenever i come across these people.
Back to the lady.
1 thing which Ah hua and i are doubting.
Can one do a full make-up without the sense of sight?
Because this lady had all on...
Her eyebrows are well-drawn, blusher put on, eye-line drawn, eye shadow on...
Amazing.
If this lady really has this ability, I admit defeat.
I can't even do a light make-up without the help of mirror.
And it'd take me years just to put on the foundation on my face...
I was advised not to use those light coloured powder...
If not,i'll be transparent, given the colour of my complexion.
i'm naturally fair...
Not matter how long i expose under the sun, i'll only be turning red, then dark...
After the 3rd day of the 'exposure', i'll be fair again...
It's been troubling me all my life.
But friends around me are so envy about this...
