i rmbr it's the 'Official Opening' for my sec sch in 2001.
parties were held at the parade square...
lots of performance... and it's pitch dark...
could hardly see anything...
suddenly, at the corner of my eyes,
i saw 'Dragon Dance'(wu long)
at the place where the teachers usually stand during flag raising...
and i can clearly see the people who were holding the 'Dragon'!
but in my sch, there's NO 'dragon dance' at all...
neither the sch will hire outside performance group...
the sch always focus on discovering the talents of students...
there's only 'lion dance' which disband later on...
strange thing happened...
as soon as they appear, they disappear!!!
it's simply impossible!!!
the 'dragon' is so bulky...
it'll take quite a while to move it from the parade square to other places...
when i asked my friends beside me,
they didn't even see a thing!!!
I swore I saw 5-6 boys carrying the 'dragon' and chasing the turning 'ball'!!!

the procedure is so interesting...
it's like those scanning that mothers-to-be will always have....
the gel is so cooling... hee....
think it'll still be the same feeling next time when i'm having a baby...

woke up at 7.15am today...
it's the earliest i've ever waken up since my hols. :P
reached the Podiatry at 9am... just in time for my appointment.
got my in-soles... hee...
i got a english doc... oh my mummy!
i don't quite understand her english...
it's sooooo slang...
she wanted me to 'stand up'
but she pronounced it as 'stun up'...
i don't even understand... hai...
but i passed the 'consultation' successfully...
and i have to pay $19.50 for the few sentences the doc said...
"u have to fasten your laces very tightly."
"i suppose u can do excercise normally."

"u may feel very uncomfortable, but u'll get used to it soon."

went CP with mummy after that...
and.. spent hours there... hai...

mummy bought almost the whole set of Bio Essence...
she already had some of the products at home...
from Sunscreen lotion, Exfoliating Gel, Cleanser, Toner, Mask etc...
and it's not cheap...
she actually wanted to buy the 'White Lotion'...
but i told her :
"i don't think i'll need it... i'm fair enough... if i keep 'whitening' myself, i'll become 'transparent'!"
hahahahahaha!
but i must admit, the Exfoliating Gel is very, very useful...
i'm using that myself... expensive but good... $20++ for a small tube... hai...

Glad to hear from the media that the Cancer Society
is appealling for a smoke-free society.
Statistics has shown that 3 person died from lung cancer every day.
that's worrying...
Prices of cigarettes are increasing.
But it doesn't seem to be a concern to smokers.
Perhaps it's because of the wealthy lifestyle we have.
I have a few of my friends who smoke...And i guess i'm losing them soon...
in 10-20 years.
i don't believe the harmful effects it caused in the first place.
Until...
I saw it with my own eyes in the 'Body World' exhibit.

Not a single patch of flesh-colour.
it's disgusting.

was woken up by tons of phone calls...
little did i realise that it's something serious.
my sis is feeling very unwell... requested me to fetch her home.
I then went over to check my hp... OMG!
7 missed calls from mummy and 3 from my sis...
hence i rushed down to school.
and the weather is sooooooooooo hot!!!!
and my stomach is so hungry...
yes.. i went out w/o eating anything...
signed in at the security counter...
then proceeded to the office to 'seek' permission for leaving...
and, the clerk told me : "sorry, you can't bring your sis home. our guideline is to have a guardian above 21 years."
"but my mum's in Woodlands, dad's working."
"well, then i have to seek the VP's permission."
the VP came out and allowed it...
there's something which i'm not please about.
the attitude from that clerk.
she gave those 'always this excuse' look when my sis told her what's wrong...
and it's very troublesome to bring her out of the school either.
i have to sign tons of paper...
luckily she's only having a bad stomach...
what if it's something serious?
must i sign so much paper too? wouldn't it be too late...
the school have to re-think of the whole system.

had a total different experience tonight!
because today is Lantern Festival,the whole family went down to the temple just across the street of Gran's.
it's packed, hot and stuffy... and also the smell of incense is very strong.
Suddenly, there's a commotion at the front gate.
Daddy said the 'ji tong'(the person whim is believed to be possess by the Gods)is coming in.
they looked quite scary...
one of them even have a whip with him.
And he started whipping as he walked along... scary...
at the other end, there's a small stage
where teenage singer are doing their 'show'...
this was where my dad and other elders were talking about my cousin and i.
they said when the both of us were younger (4-5 yrs),
we went up on stage to sing voluntarily...
and in the end we won a casette tape...
hahahaha...
i wonder if this was when it triggered my love for singing...
hahahahaha...
there's also another reward from the temple...

and tampines is blacklisted for the dengue fever!

Had a chat with my sis during the commercial break...
got to know everything that's happening in school.
what i'm going to say would sound nasty.
I had went back to school in Aug.
Glad to see familiar faces around.
But there's something which i find myself uncomfortable with.
the environment.
the same place where i had spent 4 years in.
i find myself in a total strange place.
a place i've never known before.
the sense of belonging-ness had gone.
why did this happen?
a change in the Figurehead perhaps.
A Manager may not be a good Leader;
A Leader may not be a good Manager.
this sentence is absolutely true for this case.
i heard that cameras were installed in canteen...
is it fun watching people eating?
what if the person you watching puke?

i believe the staffs there are facing a high pressure, are you?

whenever we tried our best to produce our 'perfect' answer for the presentation,
she'll say:
"Class, this answer will not get you ANY mark."
and she'll go about telling us the right answer.
and, it turned out to be the same answer as presented by my mates.
my class thinks she's personally against us.
why?
cos, she'll never say those words in other classes.
in fact, she'll have a hearty time with them.

i sounded harsh in the previous post.
not in a good mood today.
having a severe headache now.
and was angry the whole afternoon...
that MP3 of mine keeps giving me problems.
then, i have to keep asking didi how to get things done.
after everything's done, another thing starts to happen.
all the downloaded songs can't be copied into my player...
was very frustrated on that.
was cursing and swearing in my heart.
blaming this and blaming that.
just now when daddy came home,
asked me about the player.
was voicing out to him all the faults of the player...
in the past few weeks, i am still hestitating whether to buy Creative's mp3.
now, i've decided...
i'm going to buy Creative's player...
and am now asking the market price of it...
trying to find a cheap one.
can see how frustrated i am over this player?
i nearly throw it on the floor this afternoon after the problems occur.

This was from Selina's (S.H.E) dad.
He's a wonderful dad.
he posted in the official website trying to calm the fans down.
he said:" I've been telling my elder daughter the '2 don'ts & 1 do'."
They are : 'Don't' compare, 'Don't' be calculative and 'Do' appreciate everything.
S's dad wrote in a fluent chinese.
he even wrote down some of the lines from a famous poet, Shu Dong Bo.
he's always there when something terrible happened. :)
was touched by him. nearly teared by the long essay.

Their reporters are well-respected by various artistes.
Their reported news are also well-received by all fans.
They don't behave like the paparazzis.
But, their reputation was tarnished overnight yesterday (7 Sep 2005)
after they had exposed Ella's residential photo and her car plate number.
they had mentioned her residential address geograpically and even went on to the extent of describing what are the ornaments in her house.
photos of the building were taken and had specifically circled out Ella's unit.
Ella's car was taken and they didn't blur the car plate number.
Fans all around are worried about her safety, as well as her family's.
Fans are demanding a public apology by that particular reporter.
legal actions are reserved by S.H.E's record company (H.I.M).
Liberity Times now faced a deep trouble.
I was angered when i saw this news.
This is not the first time paparazzis and reporters exposing residential secrets.
they should learn self-respect.
